Dragonflies Head Coach: Lee Ann Wright
Lee Ann (Gathings) Wright had a 16 year swimming career swimming with Space City Swimming, Mecklenburg Aquatic Club and on to the University of Florida under the leadership of Coach Greg Troy - United States Olympic Team Coach.  She was a 4 time Junior National Champion and a member of the 1992 Junior National team traveling internationally to compete.  Lee Ann was a high school All American and competed at the 1993 United States Olympic Festival.

As much as high school and collegiate competitive swimming consumed her, Lee Ann has always had a great love for Summer League Swimming.  She swam for several summer league teams over the years from Michigan to North Carolina and Alabama and has wonderful memories of the fun, friendly competition, cheers, stroke clinics, picnics, swim meets, poster-making parties, team spirit and swimming friends enjoying pizza parties after swim meets!  She has a desire to bring that laid back fun to her coaching with the Auburn Dragonflies and hopes to share some of what she learned over all of her years of swimming with the kids of the City of Auburn.

Lee Ann and her husband, Mo, enjoy their seven children and live in Auburn.  For more information about the program, please contact Lee Ann via e-mail.
