Revenue Review
The Revenue Review is a comprehensive analysis of past, present and future revenue flows generated by taxes, licenses and fees of the City. In conjunction with the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Biennial Budget, the revenue review is used by policymakers and citizens to address four topics:
- Evaluate the adequacy of the current General Fund revenue structure to support the City’s ability to provide public services at the current level, based on historical trends and reasonable assumptions, as well as the capital needs of the City as adopted by the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
- Identify revenue-related issues that need further study.
- Develop recommendations for changes in the General Fund revenue structure to address any forecasted revenue deficiencies.
- Develop recommendations for changes in the City’s revenue administration processes where appropriate.
