Auburn, Ala. - In celebration of America Recycles Day and in an effort to Keep Auburn Beautiful, the City of Auburn, Auburn Chamber of Commerce and Cintas Corporation will host an electronics recycling and secure document shredding event on Friday, November 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, located at 714 East Glenn Avenue. This event is open to Auburn citizens only. 

Electronics accepted during the event:

Computers – CPU’s and laptops, mainframes, peripherals

Monitors – CRT’s and flat screens

Telephones, Cell phones, Telephone systems

Printers and Copiers, Fax Machines and Office Equipment

Electronic Circuit boards and components

Stereo Equipment, Games, PDA’s

Document shredding* items accepted during the event:

Confidential Records

Paper Documents

"6 Box limitation" per vehicle

*Documents will be shredded on-site.
