2015 Pool Season

The Auburn City Pools Early Bird Season begins on May 5, with Recreation Swim open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at Samford Pool.  The Early Bird Recreation Season is FREE for Splash Pass holders or $2 per person.  Early Bird Swim Lessons begin on May 18; please register for Early Bird Swim Lessons at the Harris Center.

The Summer Pool Season officially opens on Saturday, May 23 at Samford Pool and on Monday, May 25 at Drake Pool.  The Summer Pool Season ends at the end of the day on Monday, September 7, 2015.

Daily Swim Times

Swim times will change after August 5.  Times are posted below and at the pools.  Pool hours and dates are subject to change, depending on weather and attendance.

Samford Pool Hours:

Lap Swim (19 & up)
MTRF*: 5/25 - 8/4, 6 - 7 a.m.
M - F: 5/25 - 8/5, Noon - 1 p.m. (5 Lanes Available), 5 - 6 p.m.
SA, SU: 5/30 – 8/2, Noon - 1 p.m.

Recreation Swim
M - F: 5/25 - 8/5, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Evening Recreation Swim
MW: 5/25– 8/4, 6 - 8 p.m.

Weekend Recreation Swim
SA, SU: 5/23 - 8/2, 1 - 6 p.m.

 

 *Closed Wednesday mornings due to cleaning.
 

 

Samford Pool hours August 6 - September 7:

Afternoon Recreation Swim
 T,W,R: 8/6 - 9/3, 4 - 6 p.m.

Weekend Recreation Swim
SA, SU: 8/8 - 9/6, 1 -5 p.m.

 

 Drake Pool Hours:

Afternoon Recreation Swim
M - F: 5/25 - 7/31, 1 - 5 p.m.

Weekend Recreation Swim
SA, SU: 5/30 - 7/25, 1 -5 p.m.

 

Drake Pool will close for the season at 5 p.m., July 31, 2015.
