Guidelines for Cemeteries

Guidelines for Cemeteries:

  • Two sets of ashes may be buried in one burial space in any burial area. Two markers will be permitted for this use. Interments must be scheduled with the Cemetery Superintendent.
  • Scattering of cremated ashes is not permitted.
  • To open and close a gravesite please contact the Cemetery Superintendent or call 334.501.2930. The fee schedule for the opening and closing of a gravesite is as follows:

    *Please note: fees listed are for City of Auburn residents. Non-resident fees are double.*

  •  All marker and vase installations or removals must be scheduled with the Cemetery Superintendent. Please call 334.501.2930 to do so. The fee schedule for the removal or installation of vases and markers is as follows:
