Auburn Softball Complex
2013 Alabama ASA Complex of the Year & Alabama ASA Hall of Fame Member
The Auburn Softball Complex, located off Interstate 85 on Hwy. 29, was built in 1992 by the City of Auburn in an effort to provide citizens within the community a state-of-the-art recreational facility for softball. The Auburn Softball Complex staff strives to ensure that visitors enjoy the finest championship playing facilities. A strong emphasis is placed on expert organization and genuine Southern hospitality. The Auburn Softball Complex has been recognized as one of the premier complexes in the nation by USA Softball magazine and was also awarded the 1999 ISA National Complex of the Year. The complex was also awarded the 1999, 2001, 2005,2006, 2008, 2010, and 2013 Alabama ASA Complex of the Year. The complex was inducted into the Alabama ASA Hall of Fame in 2007.
Since its opening in 1993, the Complex has hosted 20 ASA National Championships and 10 ISA World Championships. In 2015, the Auburn Softball Complex will host the ASA Girl's 14u B Southern National and the Girl's 18u A Southern National. In addition to these events, the complex regularly hosts a number of local leagues and has been the site for many districts, sub-states, and state tournaments. The Complex was also the home of the 1997 and 1998 Auburn University Women's Fast Pitch team and hosted a number of SEC games.
