The Friends of the Auburn Public Library

The Friends of the Auburn Public Library work together to raise awareness and support of the Auburn Public Library.  The Friends also hold book sales twice each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, to raise funds for various library activities.  We work in partnership with the library staff to enhance the library’s positive impact on the community in the following ways:

  • Purchasing books, movies, and other items for the library collection.
  • Sponsoring library events for children and teens, such as the Summer Reading Program.
  • Supporting community reading events, such as One Book, One Village.
  • Raising awareness of the library’s programs, services, and resources.

If you would like to help the Auburn Public Library…

  • Visit the library often, and enjoy the many resources that the library makes available!
  • Tell your friends and neighbors about how much you love your library!
  • Encourage your elected officials to continue supporting the library!
  • Donate to the Friends of the Auburn Public Library!  Any donation, of whatever amount, contributes toward a strong partnership between the library and the community.
  • Become an active member of the Friends!  Volunteer to help with our book sales and attend Friends meetings to develop new fundraising initiatives.
