The City of Auburn and the Auburn Bicycle Committee host many bicycle education and encouragement programs throughout the year.

Bike Bash is the premier event.  This great bicycling event is designed to encourage biking activities, endorse bicycle safety, promote the health benefits of this great leisure sport and emphasize local bike-friendly trails and areas.

4th Grade Education Program has been implemented in every City of Auburn Elementary school to ensure that every child in the city school system is taught how to safely ride a bicycle.

Bicycle Loaner Program offers the use of bicycles and helmets for all citizens and visitors to Auburn who are 19 years of age and above. And it's FREE!

Bike Month Activities are scheduled throughout the month of May in celebration of National bike Month as designated by the League of American Bicyclists.

Free Bike Rack Program was established to assist bicycle commuters as they arrive at their desitnations.  Cyclists can now request a bicycle rack for their favorite stops.  The Auburn Bicycle Committee will work with the merchant to have a rack installed at no cost to the merchant!

Friend of the Bicycle Committee Award
is given each year to someone in the Auburn community who supports the Auburn Bicycle Committee by volunteering their time and/or helping fund various programs.

Each of these programs help to make Auburn a more Bicycle Friendly Community.
