Elections

The City of Auburn holds general elections every 4 years to elect a Mayor at-large and a City Council member for each of Auburn's eight voting wards. The next general election will be held in August of 2018.

The City of Auburn also holds special elections periodically as called for by the City Council. The most recent example of a special election is the 2015 vote in which Auburn voters dedicated the Special Five-Mill Fund to be used for the construction of the new Auburn High School.
