Auburn Parks and Recreation offers year-round activities, trips and programs for active Seniors who are 50 and older. Several of our quarterly programs and upcoming trips are highlighted below. Let's Get Ready to BINGO Bi-Weekly Lunch!
  
On the first and third Tuesday of each month, enjoy the opportunity to play bingo, meet with old and new friends and enjoy a scrumptious meal. Feel free to bring a friend! This is also an opportunity to suggest ideas for fun and exciting field trips and speakers.

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Zumba Gold
Dates: 
Wednesdays 
Location: Hubert and Grace Harris Senior Center, 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Auburn Stride Walkers:
Grab your sneakers and join this fun walking club for all ages! Walkers will meet at one of our various walking trails weekly. Walks are held at your own pace and distance. Come have fun, make new friends, and walk your way to a healthier lifestyle. The first walk of each month is held at Kiesel Park. Schedules are posted online at auburnalabama.org/parks. FREE to the public.

Movie Night at the Harris Center
Nothing like enjoying food and a good flick together! Come join us for a movie and dinner on select Thursday nights at the Harris Center.

October 29: Cinderella (2015)

Food for Thought – A 50+ Breakfast Speaker Series:
On the second Tuesday of each month, join us for a FREE breakfast and speakers on a variety of topics. Breakfasts will resume in September 2015.
Time: 8:30 -10 a.m.

Munch N' Mingle Lunch Club

Get together with old friends and make some new as we gather on the second Wednesday of each month for lunch at a local restaurant. Participants must provide their own transportation and cover the cost of lunch. Senior discounts may apply at some restaurants.

Read and Reflect: Book Club for Seniors:
Join Auburn Public Library Director, Chris Warren, on the last Tuesday of each month as he leads a discussion on a selected book. Each book is available for check out at the Auburn Public Library, located at 749 E. Thach Avenue.  Please call 334-501-3190 to reserve your copy today. Light refreshments will be provided.
